What to expect

Your evaluation, step by step

We tailor each evaluation to your childโ€™s age, strengths, and concerns. Youโ€™ll leave with a clear summary and recommendations you can use at home and school.

1) Intake & history

We review your concerns, developmental history, and any prior reports so we can focus the session on what matters most.

2) Play-based assessment

Using age-appropriate activities, we observe skills such as communication, motor development, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.

3) Results & recommendations

We explain findings in plain language and outline practical recommendations, including whether therapy is recommended and what goals to target.

4) Next steps

If services are recommended, weโ€™ll help you schedule and answer questions about frequency, timelines, and coordination with your childโ€™s team.
